The Logic of Withdrawal

Four years into the Iraq War, and the violence continues to escalate as the instability worsens. President Bush, the Iraq Study Group, and the Congress cannot agree on a clear path to end the sectarian fighting and bring the U.S. and coalition forces home. In Iraq: The Logic of Withdrawal, Anthony Arnove argues that the U.S. occupation is the major source of instability and suffering for the Iraqi people. Challenging the idea that George W.
